Happy Anniversary to The Listening Centre!
This is a guest blog from a grateful parent. Just taking over this space for today. I have known about The Listening Centre for nearly four years, thanks to Dr. Norman Doidge’s “The Brain’s Way of Healing”. Our child had a number of issues at the time, and after calling The Listening Centre hoping for some answers, we were lucky enough to meet Paul Madaule in February of 2015. It was a turning point in our son’s life and in our life as a family. Today, on The Listening Centre’s 40th anniversary, I want to say thank you and congratulations. Many of us know Paul, the Director of The Listening Centre here in Toronto since 1978. He has made a difference in the lives of an estimated 6,000-7,000 people. In my opinion, he deserves major recognition for his profound positive impact on so many people’s lives. Together with his lovely wife, Lyn, and with his partner clinician, the wonderful Morana, and all the positive, encouraging TLC staff, they have created a warm place where everyone is welcome and wonderful potentials in people begin to take shape. I do not know what we would have done without you.
I would like to invite everyone wanting to say thanks to Paul to write a guest blog in honour of his 40 years of achievement.
With our profound gratitude! Sally
